1.	Election of Chair To elect a Chair of the Committee for the period until the next Annual Council Meeting. Minutes: RESOLVED – That Stephen Clarke be elected as Chair of the Standards Committee for the period until the next Annual Council Meeting.
2.	Appointment of Vice Chair To appoint a Vice-Chair of the Committee for the period until the next Annual Council Meeting. Minutes: RESOLVED – That Kieran McMahon be appointed Vice Chair of the Standards Committee for the period until the next Annual Council Meeting.
3.	Minutes PDF 44 KB To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 28 October 2015. Minutes: The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 28 October 2015 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.
4.	Declarations of Interest Councillors and officers to declare any interests which they have in any of the items on the agenda for the meeting. Minutes: Councillors and officers were invited to declare any interests they had in any of the items on the agenda for the meeting. No declarations of interest were made.
5.	Urgent Decisions To report any urgent action taken under the Constitution since the last meeting of the Committee. Minutes: No urgent decisions were reported.
6.	Public Question Time Members of the public are invited to put questions to the Chair on any matters within the powers and duties of the Committee, subject to the exclusions set out in the Code of Practice. (Questions must be submitted prior to the commencement of the meeting on the card provided. These are available at the meeting. You can also submit via the Council’s website at www.stockport.gov.uk/publicquestions) Minutes: Members of the public were invited to put questions to the Chair on any matters within the powers and duties of the Area Committee, subject to the exclusions set out in the Code of Practice. No public questions were submitted.
7.	Complaints About Councillors' Conduct During 2015/2016 PDF 58 KB To consider a report of the Monitoring Officer. The report summarises complaints received about Councillors’ conduct during the 2015/2016 municipal year. The Committee are invited to consider and comment on the report. Officer Contact: Celia Tierney on Tel: 474 3230 or email: celia.tierney@stockport.gov.uk Minutes: The Monitoring Officer submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing an update on complaints received about the conduct of members during the 2015/2016 municipal year. RESOLVED – (1) That the report be noted. (2) That the Monitoring Officer be requested to (i) circulate a copy of the Code of Conduct and (ii) carry out a review in respect to the information available on the Council Website for members of the public wishing to find out information about the conduct of Councillors and submit a report to the next meeting outlining the findings.
