The Stockport School Prudential Borrowing request needs to be considered as an urgent matter as the schools contribution is critical in order for the overall school capital scheme to proceed. The scheme overall is approx. £7m and will be addressing key school conditions requirements (ie. Replacement roof, rewire and heating works) as well as providing essential additional school capacity in order for the LA to fulfil its statutory offer of sufficient basic need school places
