•information on the current rates in Stockport for initiation
of breastfeeding and maintenance at 6-8 weeks;
•details of the support available from services in Stockport
for mothers to initiate breastfeeding and to continue to breastfeed
for as long as they wish;
•consideration as to the challenges to breastfeeding uptake
and what is being done locally to address these.
