Transport for Greater Manchester is consulting
on ‘Greater Manchester Transport Strategy 2040: Our
Vision’, which sets out the long-term transport ambitions
that will support GMCA's aspirations for transformational,
sustainable economic growth and quality of life in Greater
Manchester.
This is the first step in developing a new long term strategy for
Greater Manchester, which will ultimately replace the current Third
Greater Manchester Local Transport Plan. Comments on the document
are welcomed to inform the development of the full strategy, which
is due to be published in early 2016.
