Decision:

The Cabinet Members for Communities & Housing has considered proposals about the potential to increase the number of car club cars within the borough for general use by members of the public.

 

The Cabinet Member has approved the following:

 

·           implement the proposed bays in Stockport Exchange car park one at a capital cost of £900 with an estimated loss of parking revenue of £340.

·           develop and implement detailed plans for two bays in Heaton Lane Car Park once the Stockport Exchange Car Club usage is proven. The capital cost of this locations being £900 with an estimated loss of parking revenue of £330.

·           develop and implement detailed plans for two bays in Newbridge Lane Car Park once the Heaton Lane Car Club usage is proven. The capital cost of this locations being £900 with an estimated loss of parking revenue of £330.

 

That the Cabinet Member has also approved the lease free period on these bays for use by Enterprise Car Club for 12 months after the bay is put in place. The bays to then require Enterprise to pay an annual fee for use.

20/07/2018 - Process for the allocation of Open Space Commuted Sums ref: 3509    For Determination

Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has considered proposals for new arrangements for the allocation of Section 106 commuted sum contributions for Open Space in light of the requirements of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Regulations.

 

The Cabinet Member has approved the following:-

 

·         the priority projects for sport investment as set out at Appendix 1 and that this be reviewed annually;

·         cabinet member decision for the allocation of Section 106 contributions over £30,000 in for both sport and play (Rules 1a, 1b, 1c), or where the allocation would be outside the priority list but there is potential for attracting additional funding (Rule 4);

·         delegation to the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration the allocation of the sums under £29,999.99 for both sport and play (Rules 2 and 3);

·         area committees will be provided with an annual report on of spent and unspent commuted sums within their area.

The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has considered proposals for a junction table at Hibbert Lane/ Edward Street, Marple as part of the planning conditions associated with the redevelopment of the former Cheadle & Marple 6th Form College (DC/057596).

 

The Cabinet Member has approved the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the Order being made:-

Proposed 75mm high speed junction table

 

Hibbert Lane, at its junction with Edwards Way & Oldridge Crescent, Marple.

 

The costs of the proposals would be met by the Developer under a Section 278 Agreement.

Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing considered objections received to proposed traffic regulation orders on Hibbert Lane and, notwithstanding the objections received, has agreed to make the Order as advertised, and as set out in Appendices A and B of the report except those elements set out in paragraphs 4 and 6.
