The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has approved a number of amendments to the Traffic Regulation Orders previously approved on December 2017 and February 2018 relating to the A555 Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road. These amendments have arisen following reviews of the final construction plans.

The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has considered proposals for the revocation and introduction of Traffic Regulation Order’s as a result of highway improvement works at the junction of Windlehurst Road/ A6 Buxton Road, High Lane and has approved the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the order being made:

The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing has considered proposals for improvements to be made to the Woodford Road/ Chester Road Roundabout as a part of the ‘Investing in Stockport’ initiative and has approved the proposals set out in the report and on Drawing 1013/030.

The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing has considered proposals for cycle improvements on Station Road, Cheadle Hulme as part of the Cycle City Ambition Grant Phase 2 programme and has approved the legal advertising of the associated Moving Traffic Regulation Orders as set out in the report and on Drawings 0255/0100/05 and 0255/0100/06, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement, the order being made.

The Cabinet Member (Communities and Housing) considered proposals regarding the Moving and Waiting/Loading Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the Town Centre Access Plan (TCAP) Scheme 402 in the vicinity of the Knightsbridge/Great Portwood Street junction.

The Cabinet Member (Communities and Housing) approved the legal advertising of the traffic regulation orders contained in Appendix B and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the orders can be made.

The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing approved the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in Appendices A and B of the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order can be made.

The Cabinet Member (Communities and Housing) considered proposals regarding the Moving and Waiting, Loading/Unloading Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the Town Centre Access Plan project TCAP801 in the vicinity of George’s Road, Wycliffe Street and Andrew Street.

The Cabinet Member (Communities and Housing) approved the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in Appendices A and B of the report, and subject to no objections being received with 21 days from the advertisement date, the Order can be made.

The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing approved the following:-

·         The statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order can be made.

·         The development of later phases of the proposals including the undertaking of a more detailed consultation with local businesses and residents.

The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing approved the changes on the re-classification and de-classification of designated routes associated with the Stockport Town Centre Access Plan contained in 5.0 section of the report.
