Estates and Asset Management undertake planned reviews of the condition of the Council’s estates and assets. As part of this process, a need has been identified for roofing works within a number of schools and leisure centres.
For this project, the Council engaged with STaR Procurement to establish the most effective way to appoint a consultant. A competitive tender was adopted, using a risk based sourcing approach. This process included assessment based on Quality, Cost and Social Value Benefit.
Five contractors responded to the tender. Following scoring Permicoat Limited were identified as the preferred supplier.
