The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has considered proposals for a junction table at Hibbert Lane/ Edward Street, Marple as part of the planning conditions associated with the redevelopment of the former Cheadle & Marple 6^th Form College (DC/057596).

The Cabinet Member has approved the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the Order being made:-

Proposed 75mm high speed junction table

Hibbert Lane, at its junction with Edwards Way & Oldridge Crescent, Marple.

The costs of the proposals would be met by the Developer under a Section 278 Agreement.

The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing considered objections received to proposed traffic regulation orders on Hibbert Lane and, notwithstanding the objections received, has agreed to make the Order as advertised, and as set out in Appendices A and B of the report except those elements set out in paragraphs 4 and 6.

The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has considered proposals for measures to improve safety outside of schools and has approved the legal advertising of traffic regulation orders contained in Appendix A of the report and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the order being made.

The Cabinet Member for Economy & Regeneration has approved the use of £30,000 from the 2018/19 Pothole Programme Fund to fund the next phase of improvements along the Middlewood Way.

Stockport Council has received an additional £297k from Central Government from the 2018/19 Pothole Fund.  The 2017/18 Pothole funding was allocated to schemes as part of the original report on the 2018/19 Transportation Capital Programme.

The Cabinet Member for Reform & Governance, following consultation with the Chairs of Area Committees, has made a grant of £600 to the Stockport Schools Football Association as a contribution toward the cost of equipment and uniforms.

The Cabinet Member for Reform & Governance, following consultation with the Chairs of Area Committees, has made a grant of £600 to the Girlguilding Stockport toward the costs of supporting volunteer activity.

The Cabinet Member for Reform & Governance, following consultation with the Chairs of Area Committees, has made a grant of £600 to the Stockport Carnival Committee toward the costs of carnival.

The Cabinet Member, following advice from the Chairs of Area Committees, has referred the application to Area Committees for their consideration.

The Cabinet Member for Reform & Governance, following consultation with the Chairs of Area Committees, has made a grant of £500 to the Stockport Police Cadets to support volunteer and community engagement activity.

The Cabinet Member for Reform & Governance, following consultation with the Chairs of Area Committees, has made a grant of £600 to the Stockport Basket Ball Club to support the establishment of a second Under 14 Team.

The Cabinet Member for Reform & Governance, following consultation with the Chairs of Area Committees, has made a grant of £600 to Blood Bikes toward the cost of uniforms for volunteers.
