The Executive Councillor (Supporting Places) has approved the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the order being made at an estimated cost of £600 to be funded from the Strategic Network Budget:-

 

Revoke No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am – 9.30am and 4.30pm – 6.30pm:

 

Manchester Road

 

South West side from a point 15 metres North West of the North Westerly kerb line of Cambridge Road for a distance of 30 metres in a South Easterly direction.

 

North West side from a point 7 metres South East of the projected South Easterly property line of No. 446 in a South Easterly direction to the junction at Meadows Road (a distance of approximately 10 metres). From the Easterly kerb line of Meadows Road in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

 

No Waiting at Any Time:

 

Manchester Road

 

South West side from a point 15 metres North West of the North Westerly kerb line of Cambridge Road for a distance of 30 metres in a South Easterly direction.

 

North West side from a point 7 metres South East of the projected South Easterly property line of No. 446 in a South Easterly direction to the junction at Meadows Road (a distance of approximately 10 metres). From the Easterly kerb line of Meadows Road in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

 

Cambridge Road

 

Both sides from the South Westerly kerb line of Manchester Road for a distance of 15 metres in a South Westerly direction.

 

Meadows Road

 

Both sides from the North Easterly kerb line of Manchester Road in a North, North Easterly direction to the limit of the stone setts (a distance of approximately 4 Metres).

 

Heatons & Reddish Area Committee supported the proposals.

A representative of Democratic Services Manager submitted a report the Chief Executive (copies of had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider the approval of No Waiting at Any Time restrictions as the junctions of Manchester Road with Cambridge Road and Meadows Road, Heaton Chapel.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Supporting Places) be recommended to approve the proposals detailed in the report.
