The Area Committee considered a proposal to install a barrier at Green Lane Playing Field to reduce anti-social behaviour being experienced by residents caused by people parking on this site. The Area Committee endorsed the proposal and gave approval given to the allocation of £2,435 from the Area Committee Delegated Budget (Hazel Grove Ward allocation) toward the cost of the installation.
The Area Committee also requested that officers liaise with local councillors and Traffic Services as to the timing of the installation of the barrier to ensure that the implementation of the proposal does not cause undue pressure on the availability of parking for residents, and to liaise with ward councillors as to the distribution of keys to the lock for the barrier.
