The Area Committee considered proposals to introduce No Waiting Restrictions on part of Arundel Avenue, Hazel Grove to reduce congestion and conflict caused by parking near the junction with Lyndhurst Avenue.
The Area Committee then agreed to not proceed with the proposals on the grounds that current parking facilities to the rear of the shops would be insufficient to accommodate peak levels of parking at this location should further restrictions be introduced; current levels of on-street parking served to slow traffic speeds in the vicinity; whether this proposal would represent value for money.
