The Area Committee has approved an application from the Bridgway Church to hold a bonfire and firework event in Heaton Norris Park on 5 November 2014, subject to the event organiser producing the appropriate paperwork, there being no reference to the event as a civic bonfire and no religious leaflets being distributed at the event.
