The Cabinet has considered a proposal for the Council to undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for elected members undertaking specified duties and has given approval to the proposals detailed in Section 4 of the report for the undertaking of such enhanced DBS checks for elected members.
