To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 13 September 2012.

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 13 September 2012were approved as a correct record.

No declarations of interest were made.

To consider whether it is in the public to exclude the public during consideration of agenda items 4 (Market Improvement Proposals) and 5 (Key Projects Progress Report) which contains information “not for publication by virtue of Category 3 ‘Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority)’ as set out in the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

RESOLVED – That in order to prevent the disclosure of information which was not for publication, the disclosure of which would not be in the public interest, would not be fair and would be in breach of Data Protection principles, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the ‘not for publication’ items:-

·           Item 4 (Market Improvement Proposals) by virtue of Category 3 ‘Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority)’ as set out in the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) (see Minute 4 below).

·           Item 5 (Key Projects Progress Report) by virtue of Category 3 ‘Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority)’ as set out in the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) (see Minute 5 below).

To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Development) and the Head of Economic Development & Regeneration.

The Task Force is invited to comment on the report.

RESOLVED – That the report be noted.

The Head of Economic Development & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) updating the Task Force on recent progress on key projects within the Town Centre and M60 Gateway area.
