Plan No. 48510 – 1 Fieldhouse Lane, Marple as he had employed the architect involved on the proposed development. Councillor Bispham left the meeting and took no part in the discussion or vote on this item.

Public Question Time

RESOLVED – That the report be noted.

Development Applications

To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Development).                                   

 

(a)              To consider development applications where members of the public have attended the meeting in order to hear the Committee's deliberations.

 

(b)              To consider the remaining development applications.

 

NOTE: Councillors are requested to note that if they withdraw from the meeting during the consideration of a development application upon their return they should not participate any further in the deliberation or vote on that planning application.

Minutes:

In respect of plan no. 48510 for the demolition of an existing bungalow and the erection of single building to accommodate 6 apartments at 1 Fieldhouse Lane, Marple, it was

 

RESOLVED - (1) That the Service Director (Place Development) be authorised to determine the application subject to the conditions contained in the report and the completion of a legal agreement relating to provision of recreation and amenity open space.

 

(2) That the Service Director (Place Development) be requested to submit a report to a future  meeting of the Committee with regard to the consideration of development appraisals in the assessment of planning applications and the level of information that accompanies reports that are submitted to meetings of the Committee.

Dialstone Centre, Lisburne Lane, Offerton

Minutes:

In respect of plan no. 48027 for the redevelopment of Dialstone Centre site to include demolition of existing building to provide sixteen number two bedroom houses, twenty-seven number three bedroom houses and fifty-one number four bedroom houses with associated open space and two local areas for play at Dialstone Centre, Lisburne Lane, it was

 

RESOLVED - (1) That the Service Director (Place Development) be authorised to determine the application subject to the conditions contained in the report and theapplicant entering into a Section 106 legal agreement to secure commuted sums for off-site provision and maintenance of open space and for affordable housing.

Werneth Hall Barn, Cowlishaw Road, Romiley

Minutes:

In respect of plan no. 46188 for conversion and extension of an existing hay barn into a four bedroom holiday let at Werneth Hall Barn, Cowlishaw Road, Romiley, it was

 

RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted subject to conditions as outlined in the report and the addition of a further condition requiring that the barn remain vacant for a period of time each calendar year to ensure that the barn remains as a holiday let and does not become a permanent dwelling.

RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted.
