The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 28 April 2011 were approved as a correct record and signed by the chair.

A representative of the Corporate and Support Services submitted a report (copies of which were circulated) containing the recommendations made by the Visiting Team on Monday 6 July 2011.

            This report summarises recent appeal decisions, lists current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committee.

 

The Committee is recommended to note the report.

Minutes:

A representative of the Service Director (Legal & Property) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current Planning Appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to Area Committees.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the report be noted.

 

(2) That the Service Director (Place Development) be requested to submit a report in respect to provide update on the progress and issues in respect of the Localism Bill.

Development Control - Review of Outcomes Tour 2010 pdf icon PDF 74 KB

To consider a report of the Service Director (Regeneration)

 

The report details the findings of the review of outcomes tour undertaken on 15October 2010.

 

The Committee is recommended to:-

 

  • note the findings of the tour and refers the report to all Area Committees.

 

  • agree to a Review Tour to be held during the autumn and requests the Service Director to make the necessary arrangements.

Minutes:

The Service Director (Regeneration) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of the review of outcomes tour undertaken on 15 October 2010. 

 

Councillors supported the Review of Outcomes Tour and that it was a valuable learning exercise in which Members could discuss projects with a variety of Members, Officers and guests from Greater Manchester Police, Architectural Liaison Office and NHS Stockport.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the report be noted and that the Service Director (Regeneration) be requested to organise a Review of Outcomes Tour for 2011.

 

(2) That the Service Director (Regeneration) be requested to submit the Review of Outcomes Tour 2009 report to a future meeting of the Area Committees.
