A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committees.

 

The representative of the Deputy Chief Executive reported that there were a number of updates to the report since the publication of the agenda:-

 

·         The planning appeal in respect of the refusal of consent for advertising signage at 159-161 Stockport Road, Cheadle had been dismissed.

·         The appeal against an enforcement notice for the removal of existing windows at 1 St Petersgate, Stockport had been upheld and the notice quashed.

·         The appeal against the enforcement notice at 5 Walmer Drive, Bramhall had been withdrawn by the appellant and the notice was due to be complied with in mid-April.

·         The appeal against the refusal of planning permission for the siting of a storage container in the car park at The Sangam, 202 Wilmslow Road, Heald Green had been dismissed and the enforcement notice was due to be complied with by 22 June 2016.

·         A trial had been listed for 20 April 2016 in respect of the prosecution for non-compliance with a Section 215 enforcement notice at 72 Adswood Lane East, Cale Green.

·         The Section 2015 enforcement notice issued in respect of the construction of a single storey rear extension at 11 Heaviley Grove, Stockport had been complied with.
