The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 6 December 2012 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

(a)              To consider development applications where members of the public have attended the meeting in order to hear the Committee's deliberations.

 

(b)              To consider the remaining development applications.

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission.

In respect of plan no. 50618 for the erection of two units comprising 681 square metres gross for use within Class A1/A2 with associated car park, access and landscaping works at the former Greyhound Public House, 169 Ladybridge Road, Cheadle, it was

 

RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted subject to the additional conditions:-

 

·         A construction management condition for the implementation of the construction;

·         a condition to limit delivery vehicle sizes to 11.0 metres length;

·         a condition on the hours of servicing and refuse vehicles on weekdays, weekends and bank holidays and that vehicles are prohibited from waiting on or outside the site;

·         a condition to limit unit B’s hours of operation from 07:00 till 22:00; and

·         a landscaping condition to the western boundary to protect the amenity of residents on The Drive.

RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted, subject to the conditions contained in the report and the inclusion of an appropriate material condition to be agreed by the Service Director (Place Development) for the cladding of the building to be green.
