Minutes:

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the extraordinary meeting held on 1 March 2013 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Development).                                   

 

(a)              To consider development applications where members of the public have attended the meeting in order to hear the Committee's deliberations.

 

(b)              To consider the remaining development applications.

 

NOTE: Councillors are requested to note that if they withdraw from the meeting during the consideration of a development application upon their return they should not participate any further in the deliberation or vote on that planning application.

In respect of plan no. 48285 for the stationing of a static caravan for residential use in connection with Brook Vale Farm on Bean Leach Road, Hazel Grove, it was

 

RESOLVED – (1) That consideration of this application be deferred until the next meeting of the Planning and Highways Regulation Committee on Tuesday, 23 April 2013 in order to allow further discussions between the Applicant and the Planning Authority in relation to fire safety measures and clarification of the location of the gas bottles for the static caravan.

 

(2) That the Planning and Highways Regulation Committee strongly request a consultee response from the Fire Officer in relation to the introduction of any necessary appropriate fire safety measures.

 

(3) That should a response from the Fire Officer not be received prior to the next meeting on 23 April 2013 the Democratic Services Manager be requested to organise a site visit to Brook Vale Farm.

  • A condition on the outbuilding to remain ancillary to the use of the main dwelling house.
  • A condition that landscaping on site be carried out within 6 months of the occupation or substantial completion of the development. 
  • The removal of permitted development rights.
