To consider a report of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance.

 

The report details applications received for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust and asks that the Sub Committee consider the applications in line with the charitable objectives of the Trust.

 

The Sub Committee are recommended to determine the applications for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust.

Minutes:

A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing applications received for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust, and recommended that the Sub Committee consider the applications in line with the charitable objectives of the Trust.

To consider an application for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust received from Heald Green Runners for a grant of £730 towards the cost of affiliation with England Athletics or public liability insurance, branded club shirts, a team flag and leaflets.

A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance submitted an application received on behalf of Heald Green Runners (copies of which had been circulated) which sought funding towards the cost of affiliation with England Athletics, branded club shirts, a team flag and leaflets.

 

The applicant attended the meeting to speak to the application and respond to questions from the Sub Committee.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust received from Heald Green Runners for a grant of £730 towards the cost of affiliation with England Athletics, branded club shirts, a team flag and leaflets.

To consider an application for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust received from 2nd Heald Green Girl Guides for a grant of £800 towards the cost planned activities for 20 guides to take place in summer 2024.
