To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.
The report contains a parking desk-top study of the Bateson Street area of Stockport for information, and seeks authorisation and funding to carry out a public consultation for the introduction of a residents parking scheme in the locality.
The Area Committee is asked to note the details of the desk-top study and give approval to the release of £4k funding (from the Brinnington & Central Delegated Ward Budget) as per Stockport Council’s Residential Parking Scheme Policy to enable public consultation and legislative processes as required for consideration of the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) in the form of a residential parking scheme on Alpine Road, Bateson Street, Carlton Crescent, Mountain Street and Peak Street, Stockport.

The Director of Place Management submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a parking desk-top study of the Bateson Street area of Stockport for information, and sought authorisation and funding to carry out a public consultation for the introduction of a residents parking scheme in the locality.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to the release of £4,000 funding from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Brinnington & Central Ward allocation) to enable public consultation and legislative processes as required for consideration of the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order in the form of a residential parking scheme on Alpine Road, Bateson Street, Carlton Crescent, Mountain Street and Peak Street, Stockport.
