To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report relates to two traffic management issues on Greg Street in Reddish.

 

The  Area committee is recommended to: -

 

a)    give approval to the following Traffic Regulation Order at a cost of £800 (Inc. Legal & Advertising) funded from the delegated Ward Budget: -

 

Revoke No Waiting and No Loading at Any Time (Experimental):

 

Greg Street

 

West side from a point 27 metres South of the Southerly property line of No. 250 for a distance of 60 metres in a Southerly direction.

 

Introduce No Waiting and No Loading at Any Time (Experimental):

 

Greg Street

 

East side from the Southerly property line of No. 250 for a distance of 120 metres in a Southerly direction.

 

b)   Give approval to the FaRST Team to undertake a feasibility study into providing engineered carriageway markings on that part of Greg Street from the junction at Hibbert Street to Reddish Road at a cost of £750 funded from the delegated Ward Budget.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing Traffic Regulation Orders for Greg Street, Reddish.

 

RESOLVED – That the Area Committee has:-

 

(1) Given approval to the legal advertisement of the following traffic regulation order and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the order at a cost of £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Reddish South ward allocation):-
