To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report seek comments regarding the proposed Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the Town Centre Access Plan (TCAP) Schemes TCAP604 (Hall Street, Banks Lane junction) and the cycle improvement scheme TCAP609 in the vicinity of Hempshaw Lane and Marsland Terrace and recommends that the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport approves the advertising of the Orders.

 

The Area Committee is requested to recommend that the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport approves the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders contained in Appendices A and B of the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Orders can be made.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) seeking the Area Committee’s comments regarding the proposed Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the Town Centre Access Plan (TCAP) Schemes TCAP604 (Hall Street, Banks Lane junction) and the cycle improvement scheme TCAP609 in the vicinity of Hempshaw Lane and Marsland Terrace, Offerton.

 

RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders contained in Appendices A and B of the report, to be met by funding received for the Town Centre Access Plan, and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Orders be made.
