To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

 

The report sets out the No Waiting restrictions on Newark Road at its Junctions with Eastcote Road, Handforth Road, Fairford Close & Baslow Grove in Reddish.

 

The Area Committee is asked to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £1,260 to be funded from the Area Committee’ Delegated Budget (Reddish South ward allocation):-

 

No Waiting at Any Time:

 

Newark Road

 

North side from a point 12 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Reddish Road for a distance of 38 metres in a Westerly direction.

 

North side from a point 12 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Handforth Road to a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Handforth road.

           

North side from a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Eastcote Road to a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Eastcote Road.

 

South side from a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Baslow Grove to a point 10 metres west of the Westerly kerb line of Baslow Grove.

 

South side from a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Fairford Close to a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Fairford Close.

 

Handforth Road

 

Both sides for a distance of 10 metres from the Northerly kerb line of Newark Road in a northerly direction.

 

Eastcote Road

 

Both sides for a distance of 10 metres from the Northerly kerb line of Newark Road in a northerly direction.

 

Baslow Grove

 

Both sides for a distance of 8 metres from the Southerly kerb line of Newark Road in a southerly direction.

 

Fairford Close

 

Both sides for a distance of 10 metres from the Southerly kerb line of Newark Road in a southerly direction.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal for a “No Waiting At Any Time” restriction on Newark Road at its junctions with Eastcote Road, Handforth Road, Fairford Close and Baslow Grove in Reddish.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £1,260 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Reddish South ward allocation):-
