To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report details a proposal for the introduction of a “No Waiting At Any Time” Traffic Regulation Order on Westfield Drive, Harrisons Drive, Woodley following concerns raised by residents and motorists, regarding inconsiderate parking close to the junction of Westfield Drive/Pennine Road. Observations confirmed parked motor vehicles were causing reduced visibility and safety concerns for motorists’ negotiating the junction. During the feasibility study of Westfield Drive, Network Management Officers noted concerns of the same nature at the junction of Harrisons Drive/Pennine Road.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following scheme, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders, at a cost of £960 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation):-
