To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the findings of a consultation exercise for the Road Safety around Schools scheme around Cheadle Primary School and seeks approval for the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders, associated signage and dropped kerbs.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the No Loading at Any Time Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings of a consultation exercise for the Road Safety around Schools scheme around Cheadle Primary School and seeking approval to the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders, associated signage and dropped kerbs.

 

 RESOLVED – (1) That the proposals for the Road Safety around Schools – Cheadle Primary School scheme be approved at an estimated cost of £4,250 to funded from the Road Safety around Schools 2019- 20 programme budget allocation and the Area Committee was minded to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed below and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made:-
