To consider report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report details a proposal to introduce a No Waiting At Any Time traffic regulation order on Clough Meadow, Woodley following concerns being raised in relation to parked vehicles close to the junction of Pennine Road causing poor visibility for motorists entering/ exiting Clough Meadow.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders, and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £760 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation):-

 

Proposed “No Waiting At Any Time”

 

Clough Meadow (Both Sides) - From the intersection of western kerbline of Pennine Road, for a distance of 12 metres in a north westerly direction

 

Pennine Road (West Side) - From a point 10 metres south east of the southern kerbline of Clough Meadow, for a distance of 28 metres in a north westerly/northerly direction

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to introduce a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulation order on Clough Meadow, Woodley following concerns being raised in relation to parked vehicles close to the junction of Pennine Road causing poor visibility for motorists entering/ exiting Clough Meadow.

 

RESOLVED - That approval be given to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £760 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation):-
