To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out an event application to run a series of eight events on Saturdays between 4.00pm and 7.00pm during May (18^th and 25^th), June (1^st, 8^th, 16^th, 22^nd and 29^th) and July (6^th). Each event will involve one band playing on the bandstand, one food vendor and a face painter.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the application.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out an event application from ‘Sounds of the Summer’ to run a series of eight events in Cale Green Park during May, June and July 2019.

 RESOLVED – That approval be given to an event application from ‘Sounds of the Summer’ to run a series of eight events on Saturdays between 4.00pm and 7.00pm during May (18^th and 25th), June (1^st, 8^th, 16^th,22^nd and 29^th) and July (6^th) in Cale Green Park, subject to the organisers of the events being strongly reminded that they are responsible for the disposal of litter following the events.
