To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles in the vicinity of Vine Grove and Mile End Lane, Stockport.

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Vine Grove and Mile End Lane, Stockport, and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles in the vicinity of Vine Grove and Mile End Lane, Stockport.

 RESOLVEDE – (1) The Area Committee was minded to approve the following No Waiting at Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Vine Grove and Mile End Lane, Stockport, at an approximate cost of £640 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Manor Ward allocation):-

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order – No Waiting At Any Time

Vine Grove

Both sides from the north westerly kerbline of Mile End Lane for a distance of

10 metres in a north westerly direction.

Mile End Lane

North West side from a point 10 metres south west of the south westerly kerbline of Vine Grove to a point 10 metres north east of the north easterly kerbline of Vine Grove.

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
