To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out an application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its annual half-marathon on 8 September 2019 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to grant the application, subject the organiser obtaining and submitting the appropriate papers, event plans, health and safety documentation, licences and/or insurances and fees and charges.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out an application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its annual half-marathon on 8 September 2019 along the Mersey Vale Trans Pennine Trail.

 

The application had been approved by the Heatons and Reddish Area Committee at its meeting held on 8 April 2019.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its annual half-marathon on 8 September 2019 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester, subject to the organiser obtaining and submitting the appropriate papers, event plans, health and safety documentation, licences and/or insurances and fees and charges.
