To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.
The report informs Members of the conduct of a current Hackney Carriage driver. The driver’s licence was suspended between 24 August 2018 and 10 January 2019.
Members are requested to consider whether the driver continues to be a fit and proper person to hold a hackney carriage driver’s licence.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) which requested the Committee to consider whether the current licensed hire car drive continued to be a fit and proper person to be licensed as a hire care driver in view of his recent conduct.
The Committee interviewed the driver in relation to these matters.
RESOLVED – That the driver’s licence be suspended for a two week period.
