To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

 

The report outlines a proposal for moving and Waiting Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the Town Centre Access Plan project TCAP507 in the vicinity of Didsbury Road and Brighton Road junction including a proposed Resident Permit Holder Parking Scheme required as a result of development on the former Brighton Road Industrial Estate.

 

The Area Committee is invited to consider and comment on the report.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) seeking the comments of the Area Committee in respect the proposed traffic regulation orders on Brighton Road and Didsbury Road.

 

RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be

requested to approve the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders

(TROs) including the Resident Permit Holder Parking scheme contained in

Appendix B and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement being made the orders can be made.
