To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report details a proposal to introduce parking restrictions on parts of Alexandra Road and Ashburn Road in Heaton Moor.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £640 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Heatons South ward allocation):-

Alexandra Road - South East side from the South Westerly kerb line of Ashburn Road for a distance of 10.5 metres in a South Westerly direction.

Ashburn Road - South West side from the Southerly kerb line of Alexandra Road for a distance of 5 metres in a South Easterly direction.

Extend No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm:

Ashburn Road - North East side from a point 2 metres South East of the Southerly kerb line of Heaton Road for a distance of 3 metres in a South Easterly direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider a proposed traffic regulation order on Alexandra Road and Ashburn Road.

RESOLVED – That the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders be approved and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following orders can be made:
