To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the findings of a consultation exercise for road safety around Oak Tree Primary School and seeks approval for the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders and associated signage and bollards.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings of a consultation exercise for road safety around Oak Tree Primary School and seeking approval to the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders and associated signage and bollards.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report in the vicinity of Oak Tree Primary School, Cheadle Hulme, as shown on drawing no. 0305/OT/002 attached to the report, at an approximate cost of £4,500 to be funded from the Road Safety around Schools 2017-18 programme budget allocation:-
