To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report details a proposal for the tidying up of the existing Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the new development at Stockport Homes HQ, Edward Street, Stockport.

The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing to approve the statutory legal advertising of the package of Traffic Regulation Orders contained within the report, and subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Orders.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) which ‘tidy’s up’ the existing Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the development of the new Stockport Homes headquarters on Edward Street, Stockport.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the Traffic Regulation Order on Edward Street, Stockport detailed in Appendix A to the report at an approximate cost of £1,650 to be funded by the developer of the Stockport Homes headquarters.

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
