To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the results of a investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles in the vicinity of Jepson Street and Wild Street, Cale Green.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any time Traffic Regulation Order on Jepson Street, Cale Green as detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles in the vicinity of Jepson Street and Wild Street, Cale Green.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Jepson Street, Cale Green at an approximate cost of £610 to be funded from the Cabinet Member’s Highways budget:-

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order No Waiting At Any Time

 

Jepson Street  - south east side from a point 50.5 metres south west of the projected south westerly kerbline of Wild Street for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction and then for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Jepson Street  - north east side from a point 10 metres south west of the south westerly kerbline of Wild Street to a point 4 metres north east of the north easterly kerbline of Wild Street.

 

Wild Street - both sides from the north westerly kerbline of Jepson Street for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction and from the south easterly kerbline of Hallam Street for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Hallam Street - south east side from a point 5 metres south west of the south westerly kerbline of Wild Street to a point approximately 2 metres north east of the north easterly kerbline of Wild Street (to tie in with existing No Waiting restrictions).

 

(2) That the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order be approved and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement, the Order be made.
