The report details a proposal for the introduction of No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulations orders on St Christopher's Drive, Romiley following concerns from residents regarding safety issues due to vehicles parking at the junction of St Christopher’s Drive and Barrack Hill, causing visibility issues for motorists entering and exiting the junction

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £700, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation):-

Barrack Hill

From a point 18 metres of the south kerbline  at the intersection of St Christopher’s Drive, to a point of 30 metres north east from the intersection of the northern kerb line of St Christopher’s Drive

 

St Christopher’s Drive  (Both Sides)

From the intersection of the north eastern kerb line of Barrack Hill, for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal for the introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulations orders on St Christopher's Drive, Romiley following concerns from residents regarding safety issues due to vehicles parking at the junction of St Christopher’s Drive and Barrack Hill, causing visibility issues for motorists entering and exiting the junction.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £700, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation):-
