To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out four objections received to a proposed Traffic Regulation Order, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting on Southview Gardens, Cheadle.

 

That the Traffic Regulation Order be introduced but amended to take into account the objections and as shown on Drawing No. NM8-4961-03.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the objections which had been received to a proposed Traffic Regulation Order Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting on Southview Gardens, Cheadle.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the proposed Traffic Regulation Order Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting on Southview Gardens, Cheadle be amended to take into account the objections, as shown on drawing number NM8-4961-03 attached to the report and detailed below:-

 

Schools Hill, Cheadle – No Waiting at Any Time

 

North West Side – From a point 15 metres south of the intersection of the southern kerb line of South View Gardens, to a point 19 metres north east of the intersection of the north eastern kerb line of Turnfield Road.

 

Turnfield Road, Cheadle – No Waiting at Any Time

 

Both Sides – From the intersection of the north western kerb line of Schools Hill, for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction.

 

Southview Gardens, Cheadle – No Waiting at Any Time

 

Both Sides – From the intersection of the north western kerb line of Schools Hill, for a distance of 12 metres in westerly direction.

 

Southview Gardens, Cheadle – ‘Monday – Friday No Waiting 8am to 6pm’

 

North / North East Sides – From a point 20.5 metres South west of the

projected building line of ‘Tabley House’ first heading in a south westerly direction for 5.5 metres, then heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 48 metres.

 

(2) That consideration be given to whether a residential parking scheme would help alleviate the parking problems in the area.
