The report details a proposal for the revocation of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for a Disabled Parking Bay adjacent to property 8 Urwick Road, Romiley.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the revocation of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £500 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation):-

Urwick Road, Romiley, North side, from a point approximately 39 metres North West of the North Westerly kerb line of Chadkirk Road/Church Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a North Westerly direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing proposals for the revocation of a Traffic Regulation Order for a Disabled Parking Bay adjacent to property 8 Urwick Road, Romiley.
In response to the proposal, it was queried what the implications would be if the Order was not revoked and the Council simply elected not to reline the markings.
RESOLVED - That approval be given to the legal advertising of the revocation of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent revocation of the orders at a cost of £500 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation):-
