To consider a report of the Corporate director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out the results of an investigation into vehicles parking at the junction of Outwood Road and Cross Road, Heald Green causing an obstruction and reduced highway visibility.

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting at Any Time Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into vehicles parking at the junction of Outwood Road and Cross Road, Heald Green causing obstructions and reduced highway visibility.

RESOLVE – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following No Waiting At Any time Traffic Regulation Order on Outwood Road, Cross Road and Curzon Road, Heald Green at an approximate cost of £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Heald Green Ward allocation):-

Curzon Road, Heald Green – No Waiting at Any Time

Both Sides – From the intersections of the western kerb line of Outwood Road, for a Distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction.

Outwood Road / Cross Road, Heald Green – No Waiting at Any Time

West Side – From a point 20 metres north west, of the intersection of the northern kerb line of Curzon Road, to a point 55 metres south of the intersection of the southern  kerb line of Curzon Road.

East Side – From a point 7 metres south of the projected southern kerb line of Curzon Road, to a point 55 metres south of the intersection of the southern kerb line of Curzon Road.

Outwood Road, Heald Green – No Waiting at Any Time

North East Side– From a point, 27 metres north west of the intersection of the western kerb line of Avon Road, to the eastern kerb line of Outwood Road / Cross Road.

South East Side – From a point 30 metres north west of the projected western kerb line of Avon Road, to the eastern kerb line of Outwood Road / Cross Road.

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
