To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the findings of a consultation exercise into complaints from residents wo front onto Wilmslow Road, opposite the junction of Grange Road, that vehicles parking close to their driveways were creating s hazard for them.

 

That the Executive Councillor (Communities and Housing) be recommended to approve the legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Orders can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings of a consultation exercise into complaints from residents who front on to Wilmslow Road, Cheadle opposite the junction of Grange Road, that vehicles were parking close to their driveways which was creating a hazard for them.

 

RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order, as showing on plan NM8 4977 02 attached to the report, at an approximate cost of £850 to be funded from the Executive budget and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made:-

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order – No Waiting At any Time

 

Wilmslow Road, Cheadle – from a point 30 metres south of the intersection of the southern kerb line of Warren avenue, to a point 10 metres north of the intersection of the northern kerbline of Waldon Avenue.

 

Wilmslow Road, Cheadle – from a point 10 metres south of the intersection of the southern kerbline of Waldon Avenue, for a distance of 99 metres in a southerly direction.
