To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out a proposal to fence the bowling greens at Alexandra Park and Heaton Norris Park in order to protect them from misuse and ensure they remain recreational facilities at these key greenspaces.
The Area Committee is recommended to approve the revised fencing proposals for enclosing the bowling greens at Alexandra Park and Heaton Norris Park.

Minutes:
A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out a proposal to fence the bowling greens at Alexandra Park and Heaton Norris Park in order to protect them from misuse and ensure they remained recreational facilities at these key greenspaces.
RESOLVED – (1) That the revised fencing proposal for enclosing two bowling greens at Alexandra Park be approved.
(2) That the revised fencing proposal for enclosing two bowling greens at Heaton Norris Park be deferred until a future meeting of the Area Committee to enable further discussions regarding the proposal.
