To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the proposed introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO’s) associated with the Stockport Town Centre Access Plan (TCAP) scheme in the vicinity of Booth Street and Mercian Way in the town centre.

 

The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Executive Councillor (Communities and Housing) to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders set out in Appendix A and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Orders can be made.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the proposed introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the Town Centre Access Plan scheme in the vicinity of Booth Street and Mercian Way, Edgeley.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Communities and Housing) be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders on Booth Street, Mercian Way and Newton Street, Edgeley set out in Appendix A, to be met by funding received for the Town Centre Access Plan, and, subject to no objections being received twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Orders can be made.
