To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report details a proposal for the introduction of new ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order at the junctions of Osborne Street/Davies Road and the junction of Osborne Street/Robin Croft close to the recently expanded Arden Primary School, Bredbury.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the statutory legal adverting of the following Traffic Regulation order, and subject to no objections being received with 21 days of the advertisement date the subsequent making of the order at a cost of £600 to be funded by a developer contribution:-

Davies Road, Bredbury, both sides, from the northerly kerb line of Osborne Street for a distance of 14 metres in a northerly direction.

 

Osborne Street, Bredbury, north side, from a point 20 metres west of the westerly kerb line of Davies Road to a point 18.5 metres east of the easterly kerb line of Davies Road.

 

Osborne Street, Bredbury, north side, from a point 10 metres east of the easterly kerb line of Robin Croft to a point 10 metres west of the westerly kerb line of Robin Croft.

 

Robin Croft, Bredbury, both sides, from the northerly kerb line Osborne Street for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal for the introduction of new ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order at the junctions of Osborne Street/Davies Road and the junction of Osborne Street/Robin Croft close to the recently expanded Arden Primary School, Bredbury.

 

The representative of the Democratic Services Manager reported that due to the timing of the submission of the report, the necessary consultation with residents had not yet taken place.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given (subject to the necessary consultation with residents) to the statutory legal adverting of the following Traffic Regulation order, and subject to no objections being received with 21 days of the advertisement date the subsequent making of the order at a cost of £600 to be funded by a developer contribution:-
