The Area Committee is asked to appoint a councillor to lay a wreath on behalf of the Council at the Remembrance Day Services at Cheadle, Gatley and Heald Green War Memorials on Sunday, 13 November 2016.

Minutes:

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to nominate a councillor to lay a wreath on behalf of the Council at the Remembrance Day Services at Cheadle, Gatley and Heald Green War Memorials on Sunday, 13 November, 2016.

 

RESOLVED – That the following Councillors be nominated to lay a wreath on behalf of the Council at the Remembrance Day Services indicated on Sunday, 13 November, 2016:-

 

Cheadle War Memorial – Councillor Keith Holloway

Gatley War Memorial – Councillor – Graham Greenhalgh

Heald Green War Memorial – Councillor Sylvia Humphreys.
