To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise and to seeks approval for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order on Victoria Avenue and Redwood Drive, Bredbury.

 

The Area Committee is requested to recommend that the Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing) gives approval to the scheme at a cost of £550 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation).

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise and outlining proposals for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order on Victoria Avenue and Redwood Drive, Bredbury.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing) be recommended to give approval to the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the order at a cost of £550 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation):-

 

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

 

Victoria Avenue, Bredbury, south east side, from a point 10 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Higher Bents Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction.

 

Victoria Avenue, Bredbury, north west side, from a point 10 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Higher Bents Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a north easterly direction.

 

Redwood Drive, Bredbury, both sides, from the north westerly kerb line of Victoria Avenue, for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
