To consider a report of the Democratic Services Manager.

The report requests the Area Committee to appoint Councillors to lay wreaths on behalf of the Council at Remembrance Day Services at Compstall, High Lane, Marple and Mellor War Memorials on Sunday 13 November 2016.

The Area Committee are requested to nominate Councillors to lay wreaths at the Remembrance Day Services indicated.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to appoint Councillors to lay wreaths on behalf of the Council at the Compstall, High Lane, Marple and Mellor Remembrance Day Services on Sunday 13 November 2016.

RESOLVED – That the following Councillors be appointed to lay wreaths at the Remembrance Day Services on Sunday 13 November 2016 as follows:-

Compstall – Councillor Malcolm Allan

High Lane – Councillor Kenny Blair

Marple – Councillor Sue Ingham

Mellor – Councillor Geoff Abell
