To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration. 

 

To report details the findings of a consultation exercise and to seeks approval for a package of revocations and the introduction of new ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Orders on Moss Lane and Fords Lane, Bramhall following a request from a local residents for the introduction of measures aimed at trying to improve the visibility sightline for drivers approaching the junction.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following scheme at a cost of £550, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bramhall South & Woodfird ward allocation) and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Order:-

 

Revoke Existing ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order

 

Moss Lane, Bramhall – North side from a point 10 metres west, of the western kerb line of Ford’s Lane, to a point 10 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Ford’s Lane.

 

Moss Lane, Bramhall – South side from a point 7.70 metres east, of the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Ford’s Lane, for a distance of 22.20 metres in a westerly direction.

 

Ford’s Lane, Bramhall – West side from the intersection of the northern kerb line of Moss Lane for a distance of 16.5 metres in a northerly direction.

 

Ford’s Lane, Bramhall – East side from the intersection of the northern kerb line of Moss Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

 

Proposed ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order

 

Ford’s Lane, Bramhall - Both Sides from the intersection of the northern kerb line of Moss Lane, for a distance of 16.5 metres in a northerly direction.

 

Moss Lane, Bramhall - North Side from a point 10 metres west, of the western kerb line of Ford’s Lane, to a point 10 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Ford’s Lane.

 

Moss Lane, Bramhall - South Side from a point 7.70 metres east, of the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Ford’s Lane, for a distance of 22.20 metres in a westerly direction.
