To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration. 

 

To report details the findings of a consultation exercise and to seeks approval for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order on Delfur Road, Bramhall following concerns that inconsiderate parking was causing an obstruction, together with reduced highway visibility and creating a hazard, on the bend close to Ladybrook Primary School.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following scheme at a cost of £1,200, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bramhall North ward allocation) and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Order:-

 

Proposed ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order

 

Delfur Road, Bramhall – South / West Side from a point 12 metres west of the rear boundary wall of property No 23, heading in a easterly, then southerly direction for a distance of 25.5 metres.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise and seeking approval for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulation order on Delfur Road, Bramhall following concerns that inconsiderate parking was causing an obstruction, together with reduced highway visibility and creating a hazard, on the bend close to Ladybrook Primary School.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the statutory legal advertisement of following scheme and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Order at a cost of £1,200, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bramhall North ward allocation):-
