To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise and to seeks approval for the introduction of Limited Waiting and No Waiting at any Time Traffic Regulation Orders on Compstall Road, Romiley.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the scheme at a cost of £850 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation).

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise and seeking approval for the introduction of Limited Waiting and No Waiting at any Time Traffic Regulation Orders on Compstall Road, Romiley.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the order at a cost of £850 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation):-

 

Proposed Limited Waiting, Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm, 20 minutes, No Return Within 1 Hour

 

Compstall Road, Romiley, north side, from a point 2 metres east of the easterly extent of the eastern access to the service station, for a distance of 11 metres in an easterly direction.

 

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

 

Compstall Road, Romiley, north side, from the easterly extent of the eastern access to the service station, for a distance of 2 metres in an easterly direction.

 

Compstall Road, Romiley, north side, from a point 13 metres east of the easterly extent of the eastern access to the service station, for a distance of 9 metres in an easterly direction.
